About the Northern New England Star Section of the Mercedes Benz Club of America
Our chapter is focused on having fun with good people who share our interest in Mercedes Benz automobiles, their history and design, and going places and doing things in them. Our members are of all ages and come from all walks of life; their cars range from 1950’s models through this year’s newest, including SL’s, sedans, coupes, and diesels. Some of these cars are collectors’ pieces carefully garaged and primped for shows and competitive concours d’elegance; others are “daily drivers”. So, no matter who you are, what you drive, or what you do, you’re bound to find friends with similar interests in our section.
Since March of 2020, as a result of the covid-19 pandemic, the section has held only one event, a socially distanced drive in the Waterville Valley area, with a picnic at our section president’s home in his spacious yard. Most section activities and events going forward have been postponed, but please check in from time to time on our events page to see if/when something that can adhere to the CDC Covid guidelines may be scheduled in the future.
Take a look at the newsletters section to get a sense of the kinds of activities we have planned or have done. If you’re already a member, perhaps there’s someone new you can bring to the next meeting or event. If you’re thinking of becoming a member, just email one of the people below and let us know you’d like to join us for a trial run at a meeting. Visitors from other MBCA sections, either local or national, are always welcome, so if you’re going to be in the area, let us know ahead of time and stop by!
